Shocking moment MMA fighter ‘twerks’ in face of opponent after defeating her

Ailin Perez won against her opponent, Darya Zheleznyakova

We know that fighting is a crazy sport, but usually the culprit of the offence are those fists, and not a person’s backside.

However, when Ailin Perez won against her opponent, Darya Zheleznyakova, she celebrated in a way that took no prisoners and made sure she added to the humiliation of losing the title.

Perez of Argentina beat Zhelezniakova of Russia in the bantamweight women’s fight at The Accor Arena and her celebration was… interesting.

In fact, she decided she’d put on a show and give everyone a night to remember when she twerked in the face of her opponent.

After winning during the first round, giving Zheleznyakova a head-and-arm choke submission, she followed it up with a crude gesture.

Fans must have been shocked when Perez turned around, while her opponent was hunched over on the floor, and shook what her mama gave her in front of everyone to see.

Well, that’s one way to add salt to the wound of Zheleznyakova.

However, Zheleznyakova didn’t react to the show in front of her face and simply got up to go back to her corner and admit defeat.

But it was at that moment Zheleznyakova was getting up, Perez re-positioned her backside so that she could properly shake her bottom in full view of the loser.

Damn, that’s cold.

Perhaps emotion took over Perez, as the fight was nearly cancelled, with fans calling for it to not go-ahead fur to the weight-cutting issue.

When Perez took to the scales, it turned out that she was half a pound short of her goal, which was a 136 pound maximum weight limit in the bantamweight class.

At the time, she could be seen nervously walking to the scale, and when she was told that her weight was 136.5 pounds, she began to cry and started shaking.

UFC officials were quick to help her off the scales so that she could leave and disappear to the backroom while she gathered herself.

However, her coaches made the call to not let her continue to cut weight, and she ended up forfeiting 20 per cent of her fight purse because of it.

She’s also now ineligible for any performance of the night bonuses she could have received otherwise.

It’s a bit of a penalty, but it turns out that it was worth it in the end.

The fighter, who is also an OnlyFans model is ranked as the 15th best in the world, and fans have hopes that she’ll continue her trajectory.

As a 4-1 in UFC champion with four straight victories on her portfolio, a half a pound of weight was nothing to her in the end and she nailed her first round the day after.

Wife of iconic band's singer who punched guitarist in shocking onstage moment explains what happened afterwards

Wife of iconic band’s singer who punched guitarist in shocking onstage moment explains what happened afterwards

Perry Farrell’s wife, Etty Lau, took to Instagram to explain what happened following the on-stage fight

The wife of Jane Addiction’s frontman, Perry Farrell, revealed what happened following the on-stage altercation at their concert in Boston.

When concertgoers were happily bopping to the rock band’s songs on Friday (13 September) at the Leader Bank Pavilion, they probably didn’t expect to get an up-close look at a brawl mid-song.

A video from X shows Farrell, 65, throw a punch at bandmate Dave Navarro on-stage.

According to reports, tensions had been seemingly boiling over after Farrell was allegedly seen shouting at the 57-year-old guitarist while they played their hit song ‘Mountain Song’, leading the vocalist to approach Navarro and seemingly shoulder-barge him.

Crew then rushed to intervene and grabbed him and wrestled him from the stage, as the lights were turned down in order to conceal what was unfolding.

The band’s bassist, Eric Avery, also was said to have help with restraining Farrell.

However, Farrell’s wife Etty Lau has since taken to social media to share what she describes as a ‘first person account’ of what happened – on and off-stage.

In an Instagram post, she claimed that ‘there had been a lot of tension and animosity between the members’, and this was ‘the magic that made the band so dynamic’, adding: “Well, the dynamite was lit. Perry got up in Dave’s face and body checked him.”

Lau described the alleged fight between Farrell and Avery, claiming that the bassist had ‘walked up to Perry, upstage, in the dark, behind [guitar technician] Dan [Cleary], put Perry in a headlock and punched him in the stomach three times’.

She also claimed that Avery was the one who ‘won the fight’.

“Kevin, crew member with a long hair with long hair pulled Eric away. Then Eric nonchalant walked off to the front of the stage to apologise to audience for the show ended early.” she continued.

“Eric, well he either didn’t understand what descalation meant or took advantage of the situation and got in a few cheap shots on Perry.”

According to Lau, Farrell’s reported outburst was down to suffering with ‘tinnitus and a sore throat every night’, as well as the sound level on stage.

Lau said: “Perry’s frustration had been mounting, night after night, he felt that the stage volume had been extremely loud and his voice was being drowned out by the band.

“When the audience in the first row, [they] started complaining up to Perry cussing at him that the band was planning too loud and that they couldn’t hear him, Perry lost it.”

It was then, when they began playing ‘Ocean Size’, the frontman supposedly found it hard to hear through the backing music, and he had to scream the lyrics ‘to be heard’.

Fighter ‘crosses the line’ with act towards female opponent before submitting her in first-ever mixed-sex jiu jitsu fight

Fighter ‘crosses the line’ with act towards female opponent before submitting her in first-ever mixed-sex jiu jitsu fight

Aussie jiu-jitsu star Craig Jones has been slammed for his conduct towards his female opponent Gabi Garcia

The Australian grappler and Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt competitor, 33, has come under fire after he shockingly grabbed the face of his 6ft 2ins rival, Gabi Garcia, and pulled her into a kiss on Thursday (15 August).

His 38-year-old competitor made it clear she did not find the stunt amusing and was filmed furiously pushing him away from her before chasing him across the room.

Footage of the bizarre face-off subsequently went viral and social media users were all in agreement that Jones’ stunt was completely out of order – whether it was just a tactic to unsettle his opponent or not.

The fighter, who is the head of B Team Jiu-Jitsu which trains in Austin, Texas, then took to social media himself to announce that Garcia had seemingly pulled out of the the first-ever mixed-sex jiu jitsu clash.

However, the 6ft grappler then performed a dramatic U-turn and declared that the fight at the ‘Craig Jones Invitational’ this weekend in Las Vegas was ‘back on’.

The event featured several matches and the winners of the two tournaments held were promised $1million in prize money, while the other fighters reportedly earned $10,000.

Heavyweight Garcia – a member of the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation who boasts 71 career wins in the women’s division – decided to take on light heavyweight Jones due to their similar size and stature.

A lot of people had their money on her to win, due to the fact she was fighting with a vengeance after the controversial kiss earlier this week, as well as the fact that she is taller and heavier – weighing 107kg, while Jones is 93kg.

But the Aussie managed to defeat Garcia after he locked her into submission and dominated the jiu jitsu bout from the opening bell, before ultimately forcing her to tap out when he got her in a rear-naked choke.

Reports claim Jones was met by a chorus of boos after bagging the win in Vegas, but Garcia wasn’t a sore loser.

Garcia shared an Instagram story alongside the words: “I really want to express my gratitude and love for you @craigjonesbjj! This months you worked hard and change the sport! I hope one day people have the chance to know you!

“U [sic] are an incredible person! Genuine! Funny and one of my best friends now! I’m proud of you! U [sic] made!!”

Garcia continued: “Thanks for giving me the opportunity to make one more dream come true! I wait one life for this moment and only happened because you! From my heart love and respect!”

Speaking of her clash at the Craig Jones Invitational, the fighter said she ‘wanted to cry’ because of all the support she received and to hear the crowd chanting her name.

“I want to cry because I see all this,” Garcia said. “Guys, thank you everybody for coming here.

“Thank you Craig for what he did for the sport. It’s amazing. The thing for me is you guys because when we die the medal and the plates don’t go with me, but I will be alive in all of you guys and I think, never fight for a medal, fight for what you love and what you believe.

“I believe our sport can be bigger than ever and today I win this match because everybody, people can say ‘it’s a joke’ or they don’t agree. I call it self-respect because I do what I want and I don’t give a f*** about nothing.

“For everyone who thought that the show wouldn’t happen and made jokes about us, motherf****rs! I’ve competed in ADCC for 18 years and today was the day that my brother died and this was for you brother, for my mum, my dad, my family and for you guys…look at this here, this is my other family.”

Jones shared a series of posts too following the bout which also applauded Garcia, including one which was captioned: “There were no losers in this epic match!”

MMA fighter gets brutally rejected by girlfriend after proposing inside cage following fight loss

MMA fighter gets brutally rejected by girlfriend after proposing inside cage following fight loss

Lukas Bukovaz ended up suffering a double defeat after losing to Jan Michalek and being rejected by his girlfriend

If the woman you are proposing to puts her head in her hands when you get down on one knee in front of thousands of people, you might want to quickly slip the ring back into your pocket and pretend you were tying your shoe lace.

Otherwise, you might face the same public humiliation as this MMA fighter who decided that it was the perfect time to pop the question to his partner after getting pulverised at the Clash of the Stars tournament in the Czech Republic.

Lukas Bukovaz likely went home with a very bruised ego as well as some battle wounds from his clash against Jan Michalek, as he got defeated despite being teamed up with Patrik Horvath for the two-on-one bout last weekend.

Although most people would have ditched the idea of a surprise proposal after being taken to the cleaners in a cage in front of 20,000 spectators, the fighter wasn’t phased and went ahead with his plans.

Following his thrashing by Michalek, the Czech star seemed to unwittingly show the world that he might have been punching above his weight both personally and professionally.

Bukovaz, who was sporting hot pink hair, dropped down to one knee in front of his girlfriend – but she looked less than impressed by his grand gesture.

Cringe-worthy footage which has gone viral captured the moment that the woman appeared to recoil in shock as he uttered a few words into the microphone and thrust an engagement ring towards his other half.

After an awkward pause, she announced she wouldn’t be accepting Bukovaz’s proposal – but the drama didn’t stop there.

Grabbing the microphone, his partner said in response: “Based on everything that’s happened, I think probably not…I don’t think so.”

Bukovaz looked absolutely gutted by the rejection, but fair play to her for not succumbing to the pressure of having to turn her fella down in front of thousands of people after he just got leathered in an MMA match.

The crowd began booing after the fighter got the cold shoulder, but his partner then went on to clarify why she had declined the offer to become Mrs Bukovaz.

The woman held her hand up in the air to signal the audience to stop their heckling, before claiming that she spurned her lover because he had cheated on her.

She then appeared to get water chucked at her by Bukovaz’s trainer, who was standing outside of the cage.

Both of them looked pretty embarrassed about how the whole thing had gone.

One said: “Bro went 0-2 in the same night,” as another wrote: “Talk about taking the double L. Sorry for the guy.”

A third added: “Nah bruh that’s crazy, tell him no in private don’t humiliate him like that in public.”

While a fourth wrote: “2 L’s back to back has to be a crime.”

Former UFC fighter Jake Shields also chimed in on the debate, saying: “A man gets beat up in front of his girlfriend and then proposes. This is the worst possible time he could have asked.”

Eddie Hall delivers brutal face plant as he KOs two brothers in one round in MMA debut

Eddie Hall delivers brutal face plant as he KOs two brothers in one round in MMA debut

Even two fighters weren’t enough to take Eddie Hall down

Last night (7 June), he stepped into the octagon for a World Freak Fight League event at King George’s Hall in Blackburn.

Going up against the former World’s Strongest Man were TikToking brothers Jamil and Jamel Neffati.

Even the two of them together were nowhere near the same weight class as Hall, as during the fight weigh-in he was almost six stone heavier than both of them combined.

Right from the start of the fight, the Neffati brothers seemed to know that they were outmatched, keeping their distance from Hall and his mighty physique.

They just circled the man-mountain that is Hall, until he got frustrated enough to shout at them to ‘just f**king do something’.

For the first two rounds, they didn’t want to get anywhere near Hall and he couldn’t catch up to them when he tried to get close, which resulted in the crowd booing what was surely not the greatest of spectacles.

These people had come to see a fight, and it wasn’t until round three they got what they wanted.

The Neffati brothers finally decided to see if they could lay some hands on Hall, and quickly discovered that stepping into the octagon with him had been a grave mistake.

Alright, maybe that was a bit much, neither of them died at Hall’s hands during his MMA debut but he was able to pick up one of the brothers and suplexed his face into the ground.

Brother number two came in to try and salvage the situation by attempting to wrestle with Hall, but to no avail.

The first brother recovered from his suplex and staggered back into the fight, only to be put right out of it again as he was KO’d by Hall with just one punch.

From there the rest of the fight was a formality, and of course, the win went to Eddie Hall.

Before the fight, the brothers had said: “I’m surprised he took the fight, I thought he was bigger.

“He keeps saying he’s going to do this and that, but he is so slow. We’ve been training with professional fighters, not teddy bears like me.

“I can imagine after 45-seconds he is going to want help sent for him or throw in the towel and go crying.”

Afterwards, one of them admitted ‘it must have been a good punch as I cannot remember anything’.
