The woman was undergoing an exorcism and had a shocking reaction

A horrified woman screamed helplessly while undergoing a real exorcism on TV, which saw a demon be ‘driven’ out of her body.

The chilling ordeal took place on the second episode and sixth season of Discovery plus’ TV series Help! My House is Haunted.

You’ll probably have seen dramatisations of the holy ritual being carried out in numerous Hollywood films over the years, such as The Exorcist and The Exorcism of Emily Rose, but viewers were given an insight into how it actually plays out on the new episode.

Ian Lawman, a psychic medium, doused British housewife Emma in holy water while reciting passages from the Bible in the terrifying confrontation of evil.

During the exorcism, he was pushing her to call for help from a loved one in the spirit world, that would drive the demon out, so she screamed for the help of het late grandfather, with the exorcist attempting to repel the evil spirit.

After reciting The Lord’s Prayer, he also gave her a St Benedict’s medal, which should protect her from the evil entity from ‘coming back’.

Emma explained that she would go through the exorcism to banish her home of any evil spirits, that would bite her and grab her wrists while she was in bed.

She had been living in their new-build home in Worcestershire for four years with her husband, before being targeted by spirits.

“These things are just latching onto me. I was woken up and there were people walking through my wall. I don’t sleep,” she admitted.

Every time I try to go to sleep they grab me around the wrist and I can feel their fingers. I can feel them touching me. I can smell them.”

Revealing further that she ‘can’t do a thing’ about feeling ‘its tongue and wetness of its mouth’, Ian and other fellow TV investigators Barri Ghai and Jayne Harris discovered that the land which the house was built on had a history of ‘bloodshed and death’.

During the ceremony, a terrified Emma screamed: “leave me alone – this is my body,” as the demon as driven out of her.

While it was happening, she also pointed out that ‘someone’s screaming in my head’, ‘my body’s shaking’ and desperately: “Help me please – I didn’t ask for this”.

The exorcist focused on the ‘shadow man’, that would taunt Emma by telling her that ‘you won’t get rid of me’ as she said that he was ‘showing me his teeth’.

Initially, Ian blindfolded Emma and held a crucifix up to her, and she put her arm out to block it, even though she couldn’t see it.

This prompted the exorcist to go ahead with the full ceremony, as the entity was ‘trying to resist’ him.

“Exorcism is always a last resort but in this case it’s the only way to detach the spirit and move it on,’’ he insisted. “It was a really dark entity. It was actually a lot deeper than I thought.’’

Netflix has responded to questions about protecting the real identities of Baby Reindeer characters

Netflix has made a rare comment about the speculation surrounding the ‘real-life’ versions of characters in Baby Reindeer.

The mini-series has taken the world by storm since it dropped on the streaming platform last month, with it being based on comedian Richard Gadd’s real life experiences of being stalked.

The series, which stars Gadd as a fictionalised character based on himself, explores the trauma he went through alongside being dangerously stalked for six years.

Since the series dropped, however, fans have been quick to try and uncover the real identities of those in the show – including Gadd’s real stalker and the person who abused him.

Accusations against director and comedian Sean Foley emerged, with social-media sleuths thinking they’d figured out that he was Gadd’s ‘real-life’ abuser.

But Gadd came out to deny these rumours, posting on Instagram: “People I love, have worked with, and admire (including Sean Foley) are unfairly getting caught up in speculation. Please don’t speculate on who any of the real-life people could be. That’s not the point of our show.”

Foley went on to state on X himself that he had reported several posts to the police for ‘defamatory, abusive, and threatening posts’ against him.

And earlier this week, it was announced that a woman named Fiona Harvey – the ‘real-life Martha’ – is set to appear on TV for a ‘tell-all’ interview with Piers Morgan.

Now, Netflix has responded to questions regarding Baby Reindeer in a Parliamentary hearing, with policy chief Benjamin King telling the hearing that Netflix was ‘satisfied with duty of care standards on the show’.

During the British film and high-end television inquiry yesterday (8 May), King told Parliament that Netflix and the production studio behind Baby Reindeer took ‘every reasonable precaution in disguising the real-life identities of the people involved in that story’.

He went on to say: “We didn’t want to anonymize [the authenticity of Gadd’s story] or make it generic to the point where it was no longer his story because that would undermine the intent behind the show.

“Ultimately, it’s obviously very difficult to control what viewers do, particularly in a world where everything is amplified by social media.

“I personally wouldn’t be comfortable with a world in which we decided it was better that Richard was silenced and not allowed to tell the story.”

This came after SNP MP John Nicholson pointed out that Netflix’s work to protect identities had not prevented the identity of ‘Martha’ from being discovered by the public.

Whilst Gadd has continued to stress a desire for fans not to find the real-life versions of any of the characters, Fiona Harvey has been critical of the series’ alleged portrayal of her, stating it gets facts incorrect.

She told The Daily Record: “I’ve not been to prison.” I don’t know where the four -and-a-half years and nine months comes in. None of this happened. It’s a load of rubbish.”

Harvey also told the Scottish newspaper she is planning on taking legal action against Netflix, in which she will represent herself.

She said: “There are no restraining orders, injunctions or interdicts anywhere. There’s just no way.

“I’ve not had the police at my door about any of these things. It’s a load of rubbish. I don’t have any money but I’m a perfectly capable lawyer so I will represent myself.”

Harvey’s interview with Piers Morgan will air at 8pm tonight (May 9) in the UK on Morgan’s YouTube channel.

Woman's mummified body went unnoticed in flat for three years with TV still on when found

Woman’s mummified body went unnoticed in flat for three years with TV still on when found

Joyce Carol Vincent lay dead and undiscovered until bailiffs forced entry into her flat.

A woman’s mummified body lay undiscovered at her north London home for more than two years after she died.

The TV in Joyce Carol Vincent’s flat was still on when she was finally found after bailiffs forced entry to repossess the property due to rent arrears.

The 38-year-old’s skeletal remains were so badly decomposed that she was only identified after comparing dental records.

The tragic circumstances surrounding her death stunned the country as people couldn’t understand how she’d managed to go unnoticed for so long.

Joyce was born and raised in London after her parents emigrated from Grenada, but her mother sadly died when she was just 11-years-old.

Her four older sisters then took on the responsibility of her upbringing.

Friends described her as someone who often ‘walked out of jobs if she clashed with a colleague and moved from one flat to the next all over London’, according to The Herald.

Joyce then finally joined accounting firm Ernst & Young – but after four years working in the treasury department, she suddenly resigned in March 2001.

The former secretary went on to spend time in a domestic abuse shelter in Haringey.

During this period, she became estranged from her family – with her sisters even hiring a private detective to try and find out what had happened to Joyce.

Joyce tragically went undiscovered for more than two years.

A source involved in the investigation said she had a ‘really nice family’ and that she was in an abusive relationship at the time, the Herald Scotland reported.

Joyce moved into a bedsit flat above Wood Green Shopping City in February 2003, which was owned by Metropolitan Housing Trust and was used to house victims of abuse.

In November of that year, she was hospitalised for two days after vomiting blood, which was due to a peptic ulcer, according to a police inquest.

She then died sometime in December – but would not be found for nearly three years.

Vincent was tragically lying on her back next to a shopping bag and surrounded by Christmas presents that she had wrapped but never delivered.

The 38-year-old's mummified corpse was found in January 2006.

Her neighbours had assumed the flat was unoccupied and put the smell of her decomposing body down to the nearby bins.

The constant hum of Joyce’s television didn’t alert anyone either, as her flat was in a ‘noisy’ building, a resident told the BBC at the time.

Half of her rent was also automatically being paid by benefits agencies, so there was ‘no reason to suspect anything unusual had happened’, a Metropolitian Housing Trust spokesperson said at the time.

But after her share went unpaid for over two years, housing officials decided to repossess the home.

Bailiffs forced entry on 25 January 2006, and stumbled upon the gruesome scene.

Due to the amount of time that had passed, it meant that it was impossible to determine her official cause of death.

Police ruled out any foul play and her death was ruled to be by natural causes.

Her devastating story was told in the 2011 film Dreams of a Life.

Man who discovered body in search for TV doctor Michael Mosley speaks out after heartbreaking incident

He spotted a body, which is now being taken for identification

The man who discovered the body of Michael Mosley after he had been missing for several days on the Greek island of Symi has spoken out.

The TV doctor, who appeared on the likes of This Morning and The One Show, had gone missing on Wednesday (5 June) after saying he would be walking home from a beach but never arriving.

Mosley had set off at around 1:30pm local time but six hours later his wife reported him missing as he still hadn’t returned.

Sadly, a body was found during the search effort for the doctor and senior police official Petros Vassilakis confirmed ‘it’s him’.

The body is being taken to Rhodes for formal identification.

According to Sky News, the body was found about 10 metres from the sea near a cave complex located by Agia Marina beach.

The body was discovered by Antonios Mystiloglou, a cameraman working for TV ERT who was on a boat with the mayor when he spotted something.

He said: “When we went up to the Marina beach I noticed outside of the fence at the end of the beach something black.

“I wasn’t sure so I took a close-up with the camera, as far as it can zoom, it was about 300 metres away.

“We did, we were a little bit closer, about 200 metres, I also took the shot again but through the camera you find it’s too small, I wasn’t sure.

“We decided once we come to the café again we’d play back the footage, we took a photo of the screen with an iPhone, we zoomed it in and you can clearly see there’s a man lying down with his hand on his belly.

The mayor said that the body appeared to have fallen down a steep slope, and had some rocks on top.

The cameraman Mystiloglou said he saw a leather bag held in one of the body’s hands, while an umbrella was also found nearby.

CCTV footage of Mosley’s final confirmed moments showed him walking past a restaurant with an umbrella.

Bang Bros' youngest director addresses what it was like filming star with another guy as he was dating her in real lifeBang Bros’ youngest director addresses what it was like filming star with another guy as he was dating her in real life

Logan Xander has lifted the lid on what it’s like to work in the adult film industry

Logan Xander, from Florida, US, is an award-winning porn director who has also performed in, and produced, multiple videos for adult film production company Bang Bros.

Aged just 24, he has already achieved a lot in the industry – but that isn’t without downsides.

Xander previously opened up about the disturbing reason why he can’t watch professional porn anymore.

Appearing on The Bougie Show in 2022, he admitted: “Now I know all of the dudes I’m not going to jerk to my homies d**k.”

“Sometimes I’ll think I’ve found a good video and then… I can recognise d**ks now,” Xander quipped.

Xander also spoke about what it’s like dating porn actor Valerica Steele and how he has been able to film her having sex with other performers without getting jealous.

“She was already established by the time we started dating,” the young director admitted.

“I like had no interest in entering that at all.”

He continued: “It don’t bother me either. I didn’t think that I would be able to accept it as much as I have been able to.

“But it really don’t bother me.”

Xander said that by being a performer, he understands that the ‘mindset’ of sleeping with another performer, compared to with the girl he is dating, is completely different.

Posting to social media back in April, the pair shared a series of photos together alongside the caption: “I like the way u kiss me.”

Previously speaking to LADbible, Xander explained how he got involved in the adult film industry.

“I was actively looking for work in this industry for a while – pretty much as soon as I turned 18,” he shared.

“By the time I was 19 there was a job posting for an editing position for the company, and I applied and got hired.

“I was, and still am, the youngest person with the company, and I worked hard and wanted to start directing.

“Eventually once I started directing I was opening up to the idea of being on camera, and then it all just went up from there.

“I love it and have really been enjoying my time and the work I do, despite some negative backlash people have due to outdated stigmas with regard to this industry.”
