Diddy hotline gets 12K calls in just 24 hours as more cases build against rapper

An attorney revealed that he received thousands of calls from alleged victims on the hotline

An attorney running a ‘Diddy hotline’ has claimed he has received around 12,000 calls about the disgraced rapper.

The music executive was arrested last month and has been held behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn, New York, since pleading not guilty after being charged with racketeering, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs recently issued a statement from jail after news broke that attorney Tony Buzbee would be representing 120 alleged victims who have come forward with accusations of sexual assault against the producer.

The crimes are said to span over 25 years, with men and women – some of whom were underage at the time of the alleged incidents – coming forward against Diddy.

Following this news, an attorney for Combs told LADbible Group on Tuesday (1 October): “As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasised, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus. That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.

“He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”

After consistent denial of all charges against him and being denied bail twice, the case against the 54-year-old is continuing to build as Buzbee spoke to Law&Crime on Wednesday (2 October), the day after the press conference, where he announced that he will be representing the alleged victims in court.

The attorney revealed that he had opened a ‘Diddy hotline’ that was run by ‘almost 100 people’ working on receiving calls, for people to report any crimes or abuse they may have experienced.

Buzbee said that they received ‘12,000 calls in about 24 hours’ on the hotline, adding: “Our Herculean task is to try to sift through every one of these calls and make sure that we’re identifying those who are victims and those who are witnesses and collect evidence.”

Having revealed that the cases they built with the 120 accusers have been filed against Diddy, they are still ‘trying to make sure that when we file the cases’ and ‘that we include every potentially liable party’.

It is said that this alleged abuse took place over a 25-year period, as Buzbee explained: “This is an important matter that we intend to aggressively pursue.

“We will leave no stone unturned to find all potentially liable parties, to include any individual or entity who participated in or benefited from this egregious behaviour.”

In addition to all of this, the attorney claimed that the assaults will involve ‘many powerful people’ and reveal ‘many dirty secrets’, as previous attendees of Diddy parties have recently spoken about what they witnessed.

Traveller sparks debate after flying from New York to London for just 24 hours

Viewers have been divided over whether his trip was a good idea or not

A fierce debate has been sparked online after a man decided to take a flight to London, just to stay for one night.

Social media influencer Kevin Droniak shares his many travelling adventures on his Instagram page to his 120k followers, but one of his latest videos seems to have angered more than a few of his fans.

In the clip, he shares that he’s flying from New York to London, but only for an overnight stay and a single day in the UK.

The viral video currently has 2.6 million views on Instagram, as well as 112k likes and over 2,450 comments – fair to say it has caught the attention of those beyond his community.

He opens the video by explaining: “If you don’t travel often, you’re going to have a conniption at what I’m doing right now,

“I’m going to London for just one night. That’s why I’m heading to the airport with just a backpack,” Kevin said.

The travelling influencer outlined that he was only going to London for one day on the basis that he ‘found a cheap flight’.

Saying that he loves ‘a quick trip’, the online personality said that the check-in lady couldn’t believe that he was ‘flying across the world’ for such a short stay.

Then, he explained his thinking behind the decision and why it made sense it his head, to viewers.

He revealed: “My flight is only six and a half hours, and it’s a red eye,

“And I’m going to be going to sleep anyway tonight. So I might as well go to sleep on a plane and wake up in London.”

Makes sense, I suppose.

He shared footage of the plane approaching London from his passenger window, saying: “Good morning London. There is nowhere else I’d rather wake up to.”

After arriving in the city, he joked: “What am I doing here?”

His main goal behind posting the video was revealed later, when he walked through iconic parts of London, such as Tower Bridge.

“I want to break the stigma of having to block out a week to travel somewhere,

“It’s not that serious and you’re going to have fun for a quick trip,” the influencer claimed.

He then signed the video off while sitting at the front of a double decker bus, looking as happy as ever to be in the British capital, saying: “I’m just enjoying the day.”

Calling his decision ‘cheeky’ in his caption, viewers felt mixed in the comments section, with several people saying that boarding the flight for a night stay is bad for the environment, with others claiming that some people can’t afford to travel as spontaneously as he can.

One wrote: “Fun content, but it’s also very polluting!”

Another posted: “How out of touch and rich do you have to be to make content like this?”

A third joked: “Okay, slow down Taylor Swift.”

Others defended him in the comments though, with one user putting: “Yall talking about pollution like the plane wasn’t going there anyway.”

A fifth said: “Not to take up for this stranger but ONE guy taking a flight that’s already going to LDN and NYC isn’t going to ruin the world. Talk to the CEOs of these huge corporations about polluting!”

A different user posted: “Yessss hunny! That wake up in London hits like none other.”

Oasis tease even more tour dates as fans still left fuming over controversial 'dynamic pricing' ticket system

Oasis tease even more tour dates as fans still left fuming over controversial ‘dynamic pricing’ ticket system

The band came under fire after fans were left with a choice of whether or not to fork out more than they were comfortable with

If you missed your chance to land yourself some costly Oasis tickets, the band could be extending their reunion calendar with more dates.

That’s right, people.

If you spent hours in the ticket queue only to come up empty handed, this might be your chance to get your bucket hat out of the wardrobe and do your best Gallagher impression.

Even though the Oasis tickets have shocked quite a few people after more than doubling its prices while they waited on the Ticketmaster page, demand isn’t slowing down.

I mean, who can blame them?

The Mancunian band shaped an entire generation of kids and turned them into Brit Pop mods overnight.

So, it’s no surprise that all 17 UK and Dublin shows sold out in record time.

While that’s tough luck to any British and Irish fan, it seems like the US will be getting the privilege of seeing them too – thanks to Amazon Music?

After PA news agency leaked that no further UK dates will be added to their ‘Live 25’ itinerary, a huge digital billboard advert hinted at NYC concert dates on Monday 2 August.

The ad, created by Amazon was showcased in Times Square and read: “If we need to put up a billboard to get you guys to come to the states, here it is.”

Let’s see if that works out for them.

But even though US fans will be ecstatic, they’ll soon lose that smile when they also come up against the controversial dynamic pricing issue when they queue for tickets, which could actually be a breach of consumer law.

That’s because it had consumers believing that they would pay £135 per ticket and when they were finally able to buy them, the prices were £355, and they only had minutes to decide whether or not they could afford to pay.

According to Sylvia Rook, at the Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI), who told The Guardian: “Dynamic, or fluid pricing, is not specifically prohibited by consumer protection law; the important factor is that consumers are not misled by the indicated price.

“It is a breach of the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations (2008) if a trader misleads consumers regarding the price of goods and services, if that causes the average consumer to take a different ‘transactional decision’.

“In this case many consumers would not have joined the queue had they known that the price would have increased by the time they were able to purchase, and many fans could not afford the increased price.”

After being approached by LADbible for comment, a representative for Ticketmaster explained that the site doesn’t set the prices for tickets and redirected us to an explainer webpage for ‘in demand’ and ‘platinum’ tickets. The page adds that ‘promoters and artists set ticket prices and ‘prices can be either fixed or market-based’, with the latter including the options for ‘in demand’ prices.

The page also states that ‘in demand’ and ‘platinum’ tickets are not part of a package and don’t come with any extras.

It’s still a shock to fork out double what you expected to pay though, isn’t it?

Eminem shares touching moment with daughter Hailie Jade as she gets married

Slim Shady celebrated his daughter’s wedding to Evan McClintock over the weekend

It’s hard to believe, but Eminem’s daughter Hailie Jade is all grown up now – and he’s just walked her down the aisle.

The rapper, who has often used the child he shares with ex-wife Kim Scott as a muse for his music, looked proud as punch as he celebrated with the happy couple at an intimate bash in Michigan, US.

Hailie Jade got hitched to her partner Evan McClintock over the weekend nearly a decade after they met at Michigan State University.

The 28-year-old shared a selection of photographs from her big day in an Instagram post uploaded on Monday (20 May), explaining how she was adjusting to ‘waking up [as] a wife this week’.

She wrote: “We couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful weekend celebration. So so many happy tears were shed, laughs & smiles were had, & so much love was felt.

“Evan and I are feeling so grateful for all of the family & friends that travelled to support us and be a part of this new chapter of our lives as husband & wife.”

The guest list obviously wouldn’t have been complete without the father of the bride, Eminem, on it.

Shortly after the star announced his new album, The Death of Slim Shady, by publicising a mock obituary, he was celebrating new beginnings with his beloved daughter.

The dad, 51, donned a tuxedo, dark glasses and Nike Air Jordans for the nuptials and was seen sharing a series of heartwarming moments with Hailie Jade as she got wed.

Photos obtained by TMZ show Eminem posing alongside the happy couple, while another captured a touching tradition.

The 8 Mile actor was seen swaying with his daughter as they had a father-daughter dance in front of a crowd of guests.

Hailie Jade was seen giggling as she held on to her dad, while looking incredible in a strapless gown with mermaid detailing.

Evan seems just as enthralled by their wedding weekend too, as he was pictured smiling alongside his new father-in-law while also commenting on his spouse’s social media post: “That’s my wife. Best weekend of my life.”

Die-hard Eminem fans who grew up listening to the rapper discuss his beloved daughter were over the moon for her and have been sharing their congratulations to the couple online.

One said: “Most beautiful wedding ever! It was like a movie. Congrats.”

A second wrote: “Even though I don’t know you, I feel like I knew you my whole life. . Congratulations to you both!”

Quoting her dad’s lyrics, another added: “Hailie’s getting so big now you should see her she’s beautiful…”

While a fourth chimed in: “This is beautiful! Congrats you two.”

According to reports, Hailie Jade and Evan got hitched at a venue called Greencrest Manor, where an ‘average investment’ for a wedding will set you back between £66,000 ($85,000) and £82,000 ($105,000) for a single-day rental.

But for a ‘full weekend guest experience’, you’re looking at somewhere between £82,000 and £106,000 ($135,000).

I’m sure Eminem spared no expense for his little girl.

Emily Ratajkowski gets shocking request from man over what she’s wearing as she’s crossing street

The supermodel’s hot girl walk was interrupted by a rude remark

Why did Emily Ratajkowski cross the road?

Well, the shocking request that the supermodel received from a man as she was minding her own business and strolling across the street probably might have made her pick up the pace.

The 33-year-old from California took to social media to share footage of a strange encounter she had while wandering through New York City on Tuesday (20 August).

Ratajkowski looked her usual gorgeous self as she trotted across the street at a traffic light while sporting chunky glasses, black trousers and a figure-hugging grey vest.

The Gone Girl star was filming herself while navigating her way through the Big Apple and unwittingly captured a man bizarrely barking an instruction at her.

Thankfully – but also, tragically – the mother-of-one didn’t even flinch when she heard the bloke’s snarky comment.

As Ratajkowski was enjoying her walk, a male passerby suddenly shouted: “Girl, put on a shirt!”

Spoiler alert, she was already wearing one.

The actress shared the clip on TikTok while telling fans: “Wait for it: man tells me to put on a shirt.”

So she did the only thing she could in that situation – carried on strutting across the street like the unbothered queen she is while Charli XCX’s hit song ‘365’ played in the background.

The initial part of the lyrics were quite fitting too, as the 32-year-old singer says: “Who the f**k are you? I’m a brat when I’m bumpin’ that. Now I wanna hear my track, are you bumpin’ that?”

Ratajkowski wasn’t done there when it came to referencing viral trends in her recent video, though.

She captioned her post, ‘famously not demure, famously not mindful’, in reference to the phrase that has been popularised by TikTok star Jools Lebron – and even You star Penn Badgley has jumped on the craze with his own clip.

As you can imagine, fans of Ratajkowski were not impressed by the fella who thought it was his place to give her unwelcome fashion tips, and hundreds flooded the comment section to show their support for her.

One said: “Feels like we’ve lost the plot if men are telling Emily Ratajkowski to put on more clothes.”

Another fumed: “It’s like, you ARE wearing a shirt.”

A third added: “You didn’t even flinch I love u,” while a fourth added: “Imagine feeling that entitled to someone else’s body!!!”

And a fifth pointed out: “You’re wearing a shirt…”

However, some people were skeptical of the authenticity of Ratajkowski’s post and suggested it could have been set up as a stunt for social media.

If it isn’t, that woman’s got seriously incredible timing.
