WA police prosecutor Julius Depetro alleges that there is an ‘extremely strong’ case against the YouTube star, claiming to have CCTV and photo evidence to back up the charges.

He also claimed that Yung Filly could be a flight risk as he had ‘no links to’ Western Australia.

ABC Australia also reports that the prosecutor provided photos to the judge which were not shown to the court and said that ‘no ordinary person can consent in those circumstances’.

However, legal representatives for the YouTuber argued that he deserved the right to bail and questioned the strength of the prosecution’s case.

By now, I think we all know how much money can be made on OnlyFans and it’s probably the number one reason why it’s become so popular.

YouTuber Tana Mongeau appears to be no different from other success stories as she’s shown off the eye-watering amount she has earned from the platform.

For those pretending they’ve never heard of it, OnlyFans sees people pay creators for content, usually pornographic, for a monthly fee.

This can range from X-rated images or videos, fetish content, and various fan requests that are charged as extra.

26-year-old Mongeau, who made her name as a YouTuber as well as on the Cancelled podcast with Brooke Schofield, has since explained why she signed herself up.

“If I’m drunk and throwing a party and wearing a see-through shirt, I might as well monetise that,” the content creator, from Nevada, told The Cut.

“So many men on the internet sexualised me for so long against my own will, and I got to a point where I finally was like, ‘Damn, I might as well make a million dollars off of it’.”

And she certainly was not lying when it comes to her OnlyFans earnings.

Taking to Instagram back in 2020, Mongeau shared a photo of a glass trophy that read: “Congratulations top earner,” with a whopping ‘$3,000,000’ below it.

She captioned the post: "'Why do u do only fans?' good month." (Instagram/@tanamongeau)

In a 2023 interview with Forbes, Mongeau said: “People are going to underestimate you as a woman in pretty much everything, and you’re gonna have to claw your way up a little harder than most men are.

“But I wanted it and I did it, and I don’t give a [redacted] if it’s hard.

“Had I been cookie cutter, I would’ve never amassed any success.

“And had I switched up to a perfectly brand safe business woman … I don’t think I would’ve made it to the point that I’m at.”

However, Mongeau has been involved in a fair few controversies over the years.

Most notably in 2018 when she organised ‘TanaCon’, a convention in response to her alleged feud with VidCon, where she was accused of mistreating creators.

TanaCon was an event in California that promised fans a chance to meet their favourite influencers, but ended in chaos.

Thousands of attendees were reportedly left outside in the heat for hours without proper accommodations, so the event was cancelled on its first day.

In 2020, Mongeau was also was criticised for attending parties during the Covid-19 pandemic, despite the guidelines.

She did apologise for her ‘careless and irresponsible’ decision.

Despite the controversies, Mongeau continues to have a massive following across all of the major social platforms.

Monsters actor refers to Erik Menendez as ‘kind of a friend’ after visiting him in prison with Kim Kardashian

Monsters actor refers to Erik Menendez as ‘kind of a friend’ after visiting him in prison with Kim Kardashian

The Monsters star has addressed Erik Menendez’s comments on the Netflix series

Monsters star Cooper Koch has opened up about his visit to Erik Menendez in prison, revealing he now regards him as ‘kind of a friend’.

Following its release on Netflix last week, the latest instalment of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s true crime series has skyrocketed to number one on viewing charts and seen the story of Lyle and Erik Menendez introduced to a whole new generation of people.

The series has also received mixed reactions, with the real life Erik calling Monsters a ‘dishonest portrayal of the tragedies surrounding our crime’.

He continued: “Those awful lies have been disrupted and exposed by countless brave victims over the last two decades who have broken through their personal shame and bravely spoken out.”

In the following days, it was reported that Koch – who played Erik in the Netflix series – had met him in person at Donovan Correctional Facility, California, after Kim Kardashian invited him to join a visit regarding her ongoing prison reform work.

The actor, 28, has since opened up about meeting Erik in person in an exclusive interview with LADbible, saying it was ‘really, really rewarding’ to speak face-to-face with the 53-year-old.

“He really appreciated it,” Koch revealed, adding that Erik had heard ‘nothing but great things’ about his critically acclaimed episode The Hurt Man (episode 5) in particular.

“He will watch it at some point, but he’s taking his time. I understand that it must be incredibly difficult,” he continued.

“He was really appreciative.”

The They/Them star then went on to add that he had been able to form a positive relationship with Erik, adding that all he wanted to do was share his compassion with him and reaffirm his belief in the Menendez brothers’ allegations of abuse against their parents.

“Really all I wanted to do was to look, give him a hug, look him in the eye, tell him that I believed him, that I support him, and that I did everything in my power as an actor and a storyteller to tell his story as authentically as possible and with as much integrity as possible,” he said

“I think, I can kind of call him a friend now, which is really, really rewarding and the best gift of all,” he said.

Koch’s co-star, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, was similarly compassionate when it came to talking about the case, adding that he wanted to approach his characterisation of Lyle in a ‘holistic’ way.

“I wanted to be thorough in my research, which meant that I wanted to first visit all of the Court TV footage. I wanted to read every book that was put out about the Menendez brothers, or that was Menendez brothers adjacent such as the book that Leslie Abramson wrote,” he told LADbible.

“I was looking at plenty of primary and secondary source material.”

Chavez previously shared his reaction to Erik’s statement during the premiere of Grotesquerie.

“I can only respond with sympathy and empathy in that I can only imagine how difficult it is to have the most traumatic moment of your life put up there on the screen for everyone to see,” he told USA Today.

Kesha has changed the lyrics to hit song ‘TiK ToK’ after P Diddy arrest

She’s made it clear what she thinks of him

Kesha changed the lyrics to one of her most iconic songs in response to the lawsuit filed against P Diddy, real name Sean Combs.

Last November the singer Cassie Ventura filed a lawsuit against Combs accusing him of abusing and raping her, with them reaching a settlement the following day.

Footage of Combs and Ventura obtained by CNN was later released which showed him assaulting her in a Los Angeles hotel hallway.

In the video he was shown to have grabbed her and thrown her to the floor before kicking her twice.

Responding to the footage, one of Cassie Ventura’s representatives said: “The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behaviour of Mr Combs.

“Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”

Combs posted an apology video, and earlier this week with an indictment noting that prosecutors allege he threatened and abused women ‘to fulfill his sexual desires’.

He is currently in jail after a judge rejected bail, with prosecutors arguing that he poses a ‘serious flight risk’, while he has pleaded not guilty to all of the charges laid against him.

In response to the initial lawsuit the singer Kesha had changed the lyrics to her song ‘TiK ToK’, which long predates the video platform of the same name, to pour scorn upon P Diddy.

You might remember that the song opened with the lyric: “Wake up in the morning feeling like P Diddy.”

Last year during a stop on her Only Love tour, Kesha changed the lyrics to ‘wake up in the morning feeling just like me’, but when she appeared at Coachella earlier this year she changed them again to ‘wake up in the morning like f**k P Diddy’.

According to TMZ, the Coachella version is the one that she’s going to use going forwards, and she wants her fans learning the lyric ‘f**k P Diddy’ if they want to sing along with her.

When asked if the change would be permanent she said: “Yes, it will be. The fans should learn it for my upcoming.

“I want to hear it louder than ever. I stand by that. I’m not the kind of person that shuts the f**k up, I know what I stand for.

“I know my integrity is rock-solid, so I speak the truth. The industry can kinda, like, suck my d**k.”

Date announced for joint trial of doctor and ‘ketamine queen’ arrested in connection with Matthew Perry’s death

Matthew Perry died from ‘acute effects of ketamine’ on 28 October aged 54

A doctor and a woman allegedly known as ‘the ketamine queen’ are set to face trial over the death of Matthew Perry.

The Friends actor died from ‘acute effects of ketamine’ on 28 October aged 54, after he was found ‘unconscious in a stand-alone Jacuzzi’ at his Los Angeles home.

Last month, police said there had been a ‘broad underground criminal network responsible for distributing large quantities of ketamine to Mr Perry and others’.

United States Attorney, Martin Estrada, told a press conference on 15 August that ‘this network included a live-in assistant, various go-betweens, two medical doctors and a major source of drug supply known as the ketamine queen’.

Salvador Plasencia, a doctor from Santa Monica, has been accused of using the actor’s live-in assistant Kenneth Iwamasa to distribute ketamine from September to October last year.

Plasencia will stand trial alongside alleged drug dealer Jasveen Sangha – known as ‘the ketamine queen’.

She has been accused of selling ketamine to Perry.

The trial date for the pair – who have denied all charges – is set for 4 March next year, according to newly released court documents.

If found guilty, Sangha is facing life behind bars and Plasencia could face a maximum sentence of 120 years.

“The superseding indictment alleges that Sangha’s distribution of ketamine on October 24, 2023, caused Perry’s death,” the US Attorney’s Office said.

“Plasencia is charged with seven counts of distribution of ketamine and two counts of altering and falsifying documents or records related to the federal investigation.”

One of the three other defendants, who were charged separately last month, has been named as Erik Fleming, 54, of Hawthorne, who admitted in court documents that he distributed the ketamine that killed Perry.

Perry’s live-in personal Iwamasa, 59, of Toluca Lake, conspired with Sangha, Fleming, and Plasencia to illegally obtain ketamine and distribute it to the actor.

He plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine causing death.

Lastly, physician Dr. Mark Chavez, 54, of San Diego, agreed to plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine.

Following the five arrests, Perry’s step-father Keith Morrison issued an emotional statement.

The Dateline correspondent, 77, told PEOPLE: “We were and still are heartbroken by Matthew’s death, but it has helped to know law enforcement has taken his case very seriously.

“We look forward to justice taking its course and we’re grateful for the exceptional work of the multiple agencies whose agents investigated Matthew’s death.

“We’re hoping unscrupulous suppliers of dangerous drugs will get the message.”
