The pair had first met when they were young before getting together in 1994 when Presley was 25 and Jackson was 35.
Prior to their relationship becoming official, Presley had still been married to her first husband Danny Keough.
Following Presley and Keough’s split, she and Jackson got together officially and would go on to marry in May 1994.
They were married for just over two years before divorcing in 1996.
Recalling the moment Jackson revealed his feelings, Presley said: “Michael said, ‘I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I’m completely in love with you. I want us to get married and for you to have my children’.”
She also revealed intimate details about their relationship in the memoir.

Presley wrote: “He told me he was still a virgin. I think he had kissed Tatum O’Neal, and he’d had a thing with Brooke Shields, which hadn’t been physical apart from a kiss.
“He said Madonna had tried to hook up with him once, too, but nothing happened. I was terrified because I didn’t want to make the wrong move.”
Presley died in January 2023 at the age of of 54 from a long-term complication of bariatric surgery she had previously undergone.
Her daughter Riley Keough would go on to complete the memoir using tapes her mom had made.
Explaining the purpose behind the memoir, she said: “I hope that in an extraordinary circumstance, people relate to a very human experience of love, heartbreak, loss, addiction and family.

“[My mom] wanted to write a book in the hopes that someone could read her story and relate to her, to know that they’re not alone in the world. Her hope with this book was just human connection. So that’s mine.”
She also spoke about the scrutiny faced by her mom, who was the daughter of Elvis Presley.
Keough told PEOPLE: “Because my mother was Elvis Presley’s daughter, she was constantly talked about, argued over and dissected.
“What she wanted to do in her memoir, and what I hope I’ve done in finishing it for her, is to go beneath the magazine headline idea of her and reveal the core of who she was.”
he added: “I want to give voice to my mother in a way that eluded her while she was alive.”
I mean, it’s pretty self-explanatory why a celebrity would cover their child’s face in public, but given some of the ‘Billie Jean’ singer’s more questionable behavior, perhaps it’s just as well Michael Joseph Jackson Jr – also known as Prince – has cleared things up.
While the nickname stuck with him for over 10 years, in 2015 he decided to make a change and adopted another nickname, now preferring to be known as ‘Bigi’ or, in full, ‘Bigi Jackson’.
But there’s a specific reason the pop singer would ‘mask’ his children’s faces and grab a blanket or another item to do so, which has been explained in more detail by his first born, Prince – who’s mom is the singer’s ex-wife Deborah Jeanne Rowe.
In an interview with The Los Angeles Times in 2006, Prince explained Michael ‘spoke to [him] like an adult’ and explained the decision to cover their faces to him.

“He told us the reason for the masks was he wanted us to have our own life without him,” he said.
When the kids weren’t out with their dad, they were able to be in public and get away with not being recognized. However, the reaction to them when they were with Michael made it clear they weren’t like ‘normal’ families.
“I don’t think I ever thought about if other kids lived like that when I was younger. But once I knew who he was, I realized it wasn’t normal,” Prince added.
Michael’s eldest child then recalled a specific moment when he realized how famous a musician his dad really was.

Prince recalled being at Disneyland and going over to ‘the window’ of a room.
He said: “There were all these fans waving and taking pictures of me. I thought it was normal, so I just waved back.”
“It wasn’t until I saw a video of him performing and people were fainting and passing out, when I realized the work he did meant a lot to people.
Elvis Presley’s wife, Priscilla, became emotional as she revealed their daughter was feeling ‘suicidal’ before her untimely death.
Elvis’ only daughter Lisa Marie passed away on 12 January at the age of 54, after suffering from a small bowel obstruction.
Her death came less than three years after her own son, Benjamin Keough, took his own life in July 2020.
Lisa Marie’s mom, Priscilla, opened up about the loss of her family members as she sat down with journalist Piers Morgan for an interview on TalkTV this week.
During the interview, she opened up about her relationship with Elvis, the movie about his life, and their wider family.
Morgan addressed Lisa Marie’s death and said it must have been ‘unbearable’ for Priscilla, who pointed out that she’d also lost her own mom not too long after Benjamin’s death.
“It was unbearable. I lost my mother, I lost my grandson and I lost my daughter,” she said.

Priscilla went on to say that losing Benjamin was the ‘hardest thing’ for Lisa Marie, who ‘adored’ her son and considered him ‘the love of her life’, according to Priscilla.
“She would do anything for him. Anything,” she continued.
The mom recalled the impacts of Benjamin’s death on her daughter, recalling how they were sat together in Memphis one day when Lisa Marie indicated that she was struggling with suicidal thoughts.
Priscilla said: “We were sitting in Memphis in the suit, she said ‘I don’t know, I don’t know if I want to be here’.
“And I would go ‘what are you talking about?’
“And she would go on about Ben and how she was still grieving, this was a couple of months before [she died].”

Morgan clarified that Lisa Marie was ‘feeling almost suicidal herself’, to which Priscilla responded: “I think so.”
The interviewer admitted the situation was ‘so sad’, which prompted Priscilla to become emotional as she put her hand up and said: “Don’t talk any more.”
She appeared to tear up as she attempted to gather herself to carry on, turning away from the camera as she did so.
Elsewhere in the interview, Priscilla said it was ‘devastating’ to lose Elvis in 1977, saying her ‘big concern’ was Lisa Marie, who was just nine years old at the time.

And the now 43-year-old actor once revealed that the Jackson actually phoned him after watching the classic Christmas film:
With the massive age gap between the pair, a lot has been made about their relationship over the years.
It was in fact very common for Culkin to be asked about Jackson and his trips to Neverland whenever he was interviewed.
Despite that, many have asked how they became so close.
Well, it all began by Jackson giving Culkin a call.
“I first met him, he kind of called me randomly, like, out of the blue, he was just kind of like, ‘Hi, it’s Michael’, and I’m like, ‘Hey’,” Culkin recalled in an interview with Larry King years later.
“This was after Home Alone. I’d actually met him once before when I was doing The Nutcracker at Lincoln Center, I was playing Fritz, and he came backstage one day and I actually met him very briefly.
“And he kind of recognised me because it was after I’d done Uncle Buck.”

The Home Alone actor discussed the surprise phone call he received from Jacko, with the singer asking him if he wanted to come and see him.
Speaking in a separate interview, he said: “Yeah, he reached out to me, because a lot of things were happening like, you know, big and fast with me, and I think yes, I think yeah he identified with that.
“And then he calls me up kind of out of the blue, it’s kind of just this weird, random thing. He was like, ‘Why don’t you come over to my house?'”
But since Jackson’s death in 2009, stories have come to light where Jackson allegedly abused youngsters in the explosive documentary, Leaving Neverland.
Culkin said that he never saw Jackson abuse anyone and also denied that the singer had ever behaved inappropriately with him.

Culkin actually gave evidence in Jackson’s defense in a 2005 trial, where the singer was found not guilty of molesting a boy.
Despite that, many have assumed over the years that Culkin was abused by Jackson, particularly due to their much-talked about friendship.
But speaking to Esquire magazine in 2020, the actor shut down all rumors: “I’m gonna begin with the line – it’s not a line, it’s the truth: He never did anything to me. I never saw him do anything.
“And especially at this flashpoint in time, I’d have no reason to hold anything back.”
Lolo Jones, 41, is known for being one of the most successful hurdlers in the history of US athletics, as well as forming part of the country’s winning bobsleigh team.
She has a wealth of incredible achievements under her belt, but it only took one post on X, formerly Twitter, for people to turn their attention to another aspect of her life.
In 2012, when she was in her late twenties, Jones revealed she was a virgin and was open about the fact she wanted to wait until marriage to have sex.
She further discussed her decision in an interview on HBO’s Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel, where she said that abstaining from sex was the ‘hardest thing’ she’d done, but that it was a ‘gift’ she wanted to give to her future husband.
“But please understand, this journey has been hard,” Jones continued.
“There’s virgins out there, I’m gonna let them know, it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life.
“Harder than training for the Olympics, harder than graduating from college, has been to stay a virgin before marriage.”

Jones’ decision to speak candidly about her choice is to be commended, but she later admitted that it was a ‘mistake’ to admit to being a virgin, as it really impacted her love life.
Speaking to Kevin Hart on his Cold as Balls podcast, she said: “That was a mistake. That killed all my dates after that – like didn’t even have a chance. Like before, at least I had a chance.
“Before, I’d like, tiptoe, ‘Okay, when’s a good time to tell him? Do I wait until he sees my personality a little bit? Or do I just drop the bomb?'”
Not only did not having sex impact her dating life, but Jones also revealed that abstaining from sex impacted her sporting career, too.

“I have a higher level of intensity because I don’t have any pressure release. Everybody knows me as stressed out,” she said.
“Having sex actually helps you as an athlete, a female athlete. It’s good for your hormones. So I’m running at a disadvantage.”
In 2022, Jones began to freeze her eggs to help her chances of having a family in the future.
The athlete also told the MailOnline in summer that she’s now focused on finding ‘peace’ in life, saying: “I know it seems super weird, but I’m just trying to do things that are peaceful. I tell everybody I’m on a day-by-day plan.”
